Do you know where adult, child forgiveness, begins?
It STARTS with seeing our off spring and thinking...
All I "seem" to see--- is what I hate in me--- i.e. Wrong,
Attitudes, Actions, Words, and motives.... WHICH
Result in:
Broken hearts that break hearts, Oh, where will it end !
Generations of molding, through thick and through thin
Not meaning to, but somehow we do...
Always hurt the ones we love; AND Alas...we see
Products of our own pain--- sadness--- and joy.
If the cycle is not broken, someone else will die
BEFORE THEY DIE
And another grown up child will cry;
Vowing, that change starts here and now,
Because I see how; ...NOW---
My parent was, pitiful and messed up in their own way...
JUST LIKE ME ...but
They,
MISSED THE JOY,
Of Knowing, what I know today--- THAT
We're all messed up souls, with hearts that can heal; AND---
