"Ocean Of The Sky"
In the ocean of the sky
your hand holding mine, we swim...
to the raphosedy and beauty
of a shared love song
friendship tangibly mystic...
intricately deep...
you ate from my hand
tender morsels of love,
as salvia fragrant
of love drops dripped;
BUT---only... in the gallery,

**My husband and only son had been with Jesus Nine Years
when "Wild Hair In Hawaii" was written.
Wild Hair In Hawaii
Wind whipped
mane stung my face as I removed hair from watering eyes,
standing on a rock at Barbers Point, arms lifted, thanking
God for letting me be alive...
and for allowing me to live on this beautiful island.
My spirit rode the plains, and I truly was "That Horse,"
Jeannie Jackson wrote of at the bottom of this page.
Hawaii, to me, was majesty displayed with vibrant beauty,
Intoxicating odors,
And spirits hugging me in every direction.
Lovers walking hand in hand, families like mine, plainly were
so thrilled; "We had been rolled in sunshine and sprinkled in
crispy dew drops. "
The very air throbbed with pregnancy of anticipation.
Skirting beaches were sea blanket smooth. Palm trees imitating
bowed young saplings, seeming to reach for moon beams bouncing
off the ocean floor, beckoned me to walk on the sultry tropical air.
Swishing voices...mummered,
"Shy, shy, don't cry you silly impetuous wee filly,
Hock that wad of tears out of your throat."
Propitious yearnings, so deep, choking, I gasped from the sheer
emotional smothering, to breathe...
Only an iron clad will, prodigally
dammed the tears, kept them from falling; I was so thankful.
Titillitations took command once more.
With closed eyes, I imagined what Champagne bubbles would feel
like...starting at my feet and bubbling all the way to my heart.
That is
how being here felt. Oh Glory! It was absolutely enchanting!
Every sense was honed to peak.
I rode the sky, kissed the sun; Glowed. Hawaii was a part of me,
I a part of her.
I'd come home. My spirit danced all over that Island, and as Palm
branches seemed bowed from the trunk in homage to God, I paid
Him homage, literally bowing too.
So much beauty filled my soul.
I had to rise from the bow and verbally praise Him for the wonder
of His love in creating such a marvelous place. I praised Him for
Himself. It was simple, this place was about Him, it reflected His glory.
I danced from sheer enrapture-ment.
I sniffed and absorbed..., I listened for what wasn't there..., I
Knew..., I Jumped with skittish fright..., I Pranced wildly...Wheeeee!

Now you can understand why "That Horse," written about in the
poem by Jeannie Jackson below, is very significant to me; I lived
what she wrote about. It was more than mere words to me,
it was me.
To pay homage and honor to Jeannie...I share "That Horse" ...It
must be something in the heart, oh joy, I joined Hawaii in the dance!

That Horse
Atop a hill as I looked down,
I saw a stream of dust,
At closer glance I saw him there,
Wild with Pony Lust.
Whipping the grass, ridding the sun,
He thundered across the plain,
And as his head rose up with might
The wind danced through his mane.
Then for a moment, my spirit flew,
And joined him in his dance,
And I knew at once I could be that horse,
If I only had the chance.
