Ashton's Flight ©
To Darling Ashton, who flew away and left me
pink lollipop on yellow cotton candy tree
marshmallows in meadows hold up me;
i sail on peppermint wings... amongst...
around these beautiful things
i have no cat that plays no fiddle
no dish running away with a spoon
but evening finds me decked out in splendor
as I fly by that cow jumping over the moon
my wings flash silvery in the moon's glow
a mighty sight to people below
they hold their breath and sigh, my, how
d o e s she fly so slow!!!
now everyone knows I am landing and dread it
woe and woe is me...
my head is thumping, my heart is jumping
oh Lord, How I hate realitee---Hee Hee Hee

HER***
In Memory Of
Jeannie Ferrell Jackson
To me, a mighty force for what was right
She touched my very soul
'Twas not her words, but her life to me showed
The essence of her spirit was on full display
As gifted hands worked diligently each day
Other's she blessed, grace on her lay
The burden of her spirit all could see
I marveled at the triumphant painting of courage
Her last day on earth, God gave
Heaven holds her spirit now, the beauty
of her being reflected in my glow
I'm so glad we traveled, linked here below
I've decided an eternity would not be enough
I loved her integrity, her drive for excellence rare
Sweet one, I was enriched by you
Oh God, I wish you had not, had to go

Death leaves emptiness, But God Does Supply "Our Needs"
Type of Poetry: Rhyme
The Journey
This hole of emptiness will soon pass from me
The meaning to life, will not always flee
Pressed in my Spirit, enlargement begins
Space folding back upon Space...
THE KINGDOM OF GOD WITHIN
Reproofs of life, and the two edged sword (Prov. 15:31,32)
Fit me for heaven and a final reward
The Water of the Word, washing me each day (Eph. 5:26, 1Cor. 3:12,13)
Reveals the wood, the stubble, the hay---
Burned by pressure, a diamond, I shall be
A jewel made by Jesus, for all to see (Eph.2:7)
Dressed in His likeness, a crown on my head
To cast at His feet, after we are wed. (Rev. 19:7,8)

Tuff Journey Was Made For A Beloved Family Member.
Tuff Journey
As WORD, Writes DNA, Upon the Winds of Time---
Dear One, Dear One, Do but do, Seek God More, Find
And From the "Well" of Life, Prick my heart to---
Search for that I've Never had,
"no More"
Jesus Is The Answer To Every Need
AND
Timeless perfection Gods alone, thru Jesus' blood,
Precious, Rare;
(Love is Something I Always Find Residing there) ---
And Forever's Love (Jesus )
Begets Itself Eternally, Ore and Ore
