I Took To Me
i took to me as a child
a running
wild in the mind
Through fog and gloom
but heart found me lost
for God
Him i sought
in an overhead pine grove,
He whispered
to me in the wind
fingers of light streamed thru
shadows and shades of Him dim
suddenly i saw heavens door
with a figure
bathed in glory bright
sky filled splendor
flashed before my sight
and as i marveled, at skin felt breeze
upon my furrowed brow,
holy the twilight hush, through the brush
creek's winsome soulful sound
i be knowing
He's in my heart, kindled ecstasy
sublime beyond compare
splashed on the canvas of the universe
His glory and beauty
spoke to me everywhere

Christmas Love, To New York
The heart at peace, no groaning's near
What is that sweet fragrance…?
Jesus is here
Life so pure the spirit drinks in
Rivers of pleasure having no end
Joy unspeakable, bursting all fear
See, I told you, Jesus is here
The heart at peace, no gloom, doubt, or dismay
Can ever keep His presence at bay
For near the broken hearted he promised to stay
Whispers words of love and holds you near…
See, I told you, Jesus is here
He'll never leave or forsake you, His presence real
Remember loved one, your deepest hurt He will heal
He knows that you ....
Feel empty, so lost, so alone
No arms can comfort but the one whose are gone
And...
You need to be validated to prove you have worth;
So Jesus sends angles all the way to our earth---
Giving you strength and courage to live, to abound;
Kissing hurts, spreading fragrance all around
SHH can you hear the sound?
Jesus is here
So, New York take note, we know how you cry
Jesus is sending you hope, that never can die
Your loved ones hover near to catch each tear
See, SHH.., I told you, ........Jesus is here

My Good And Perfect Gift
Dedicated To Carole And Dick Tredinnick
My Father gives only good and perfect gifts
From His throne above
He gives laughter and joy when He fills
With His astounding love
He touched my hand and heart
As trembling I reached out to you
Tried and faithful, I knew you were
So loyal, so good, so true
In humility, I thank my Lord; Look to
Him and say
"Oh Father, How I praise you for your gift
Of a friend; Who, with me will pray!"
